At Life Coach SLS, we are dedicated to helping individuals live safely, comfortably, and meaningfully in their own homes. Our organization was founded on the belief that every person deserves compassionate, individualized support that honors their dignity and respects their unique needs. Whether we are serving seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those facing life’s transitions, we remain focused on improving lives—one home, one person, one day at a time.

Our team is composed of skilled and caring professionals—nurses, doctors, therapists, care coordinators, and direct support staff—who work collaboratively to deliver high-quality, person-centered services. About Alemayehu (Alex) Damtew, MS

Founder & Program Director | Life Coach Supportive Living Services

Alemayehu “Alex” Damtew brings over a decade of hands-on experience in healthcare, community-based support, and leadership within the field of supportive living. With a diverse academic background and a passion for person-centered care, Alex is both clinically trained and administratively skilled to lead Life Coach Supportive Living Services with professionalism, compassion, and integrity.

Alex holds a Master of Science in Health Care Administration from the University of Denver, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Alkan University College in Ethiopia, and an Associate Degree in Business Management from Ashworth College. This unique combination of clinical, managerial, and business education allows him to effectively coordinate care, manage staff, and oversee agency operations with a strategic and client-focused approach.

Prior to founding Life Coach SLS, Alex served in various key roles across the region, including as Program Director, Case Manager, and Independent Living Facilitator. His responsibilities have included supervising care teams, designing and implementing personalized support plans, managing budgets, improving service quality through ongoing assessments, and maintaining strong partnerships with families, caregivers, and Regional Centers.

Alex is known for his deep empathy, collaborative leadership style, and unwavering dedication to helping individuals with disabilities and special needs live independently and with dignity.
He leads by example—valuing transparency, respect, and continuous improvement at every level of care.
